The local chapter of the conservative group since the spring has spoken at board meetings against critical race theory, mask mandates and efforts to address diversity and inclusion in schools. Moms for Liberty is a national organization based out of Florida founded by former school board members that 'welcomes all moms, dads, grandparents and community members that have a desire to stand up for parental rights at all levels of government,' according to its website.
